And, yes, I meant to say it like that.
Have you ever felt like you were stuck in the mire, and it's absolutely impossible to lift your feet and take even one more step? Breathing is hard, let alone moving on and accomplishing the next task.
Recently I was listening to a motivational speaker who encouraged me to think of my stuck moments as learning moments. Mistakes don't have to be the end of the story. In fact, I tend to look at mistakes as an irredeemable something that's blocking my onward going life and dream. But maybe. The mistakes I make are merely pathways leading to roadways of growth and success.
Maybe instead of getting bogged down (literally) I need to ask myself, "what lessons can be learned from this colossal mistake so I can do it better next time?" It ain't the end, friend, until you give up trying!
And who knows, in this journey of learning and growing, we might even surprise ourselves. We might find we can actually enjoy the growing processes, and even dance while we are at it!
If nothing else, just remember this advice I received once from an old friend, "Just do the next thing!"
